Manon Fiorot Believes Her Size Will Give Her Advantage Over Rose Namajunas

Manon Fiorot and Rose Namajunas will face off against each other in the octagon at UFC Fight Night in September. Even though the bout is more than a month away, Fiorot believes she will be victorious thanks to her huge size!

Continue reading to see why the fighter is so proud of her bulky frame and believes it will get her a win!

Fiorot has dangerous plans for her opponent in the upcoming bout at Accor Arena in Paris.
Rose Namajunas, a two-time UFC women’s strawweight champion, will debut in the octagon at 125 pounds. Fiorot, however, does not believe that “Thug Rose” is physically capable of meeting the task.

Fiorot expressed that she believed she was taller and stronger than her opponent. She further stated that she was confident that her opponent would not be adequately prepared for a move up to flyweight in a few months. Fiorot acknowledged that her opponent had likely taken her time and prepared diligently but emphasized that she believed she held a significant advantage in terms of power and size.

Fiorot claimed that she excelled in all the disciplines of MMA, including wrestling, standup, and grappling. She stated that she believed she possessed a considerable physical advantage as well. Fiorot is certain she has the upper hand wherever the battle takes place, in addition to believing she has a strength advantage.

She was the top-ranked flyweight before Alexa Grasso deposed Valentina Shevchenko. The No. 1 contender may be decided by the August 26 fight between Erin Blanchfield and Taila Santos at 125 pounds. But Fiorot believes that a strong showing against Namajunas will move her up to the next round.

Fiorot stated that the UFC did not provide any information regarding the No. 1 contender status. However, she expressed confidence in her belief that she is the No. 1 contender. Moreover, she mentioned that if she delivered a strong performance, it would be in her favor, and the situation would become clearer after the fight.

Whether Manon Fiorot actually wins the September bout against Namajunas is yet to be known. But in her mind, Fiorot has already won. What do you guys think of her confidence? Will she prove herself in the octagon or face an embarrassing defeat? Let us know in the comments!
