Michael Chandler Frustrated with Conor McGregor’s Status Quo with USADA

The Conor McGregor vs. Michael Chandler bout was an anticipated one. With both fighters coaching the reality show “The Ultimate Fighter,” their final fight was going to be an epic end to the 31st season. But McGregor is having trouble with USADA’s testing.

Continue reading to find out what his opponent Michael Chandler has to say about his antics.

It seems like Michael Chandler is losing patience with Conor McGregor. It was clear that the coaches of Season 31 of “The Ultimate Fighter” were scheduled to square off before the end of the year. However, Conor McGregor has not yet returned to the USADA testing pool. Also, this step is necessary for the former two-division champion to fight.

Dana White, the president of the UFC, recently stated that he anticipates Conor McGregor to participate before the year is up. However, that was before McGregor was most recently alleged of rape and sexual assault during Game 4 of the NBA Finals in Miami. Furthermore, this wasn’t the only controversy that followed the player in the NBA event. He also managed to knock out the harmless Miami Heat mascot by attacking him twice.

Even though UFC president Dana White and fellow fighter Aljamain Sterling defended him, it still became news.

Now, in the event that all goes as planned, McGregor and Michael Chandler (23-8 MMA, 2-3 UFC) will pair up in the octagon. However, the former UFC championship contender is now less optimistic about the scenario due to recent events.

In a video shared on Twitter, Chandler mentioned that they had all been informed about the news regarding Conor’s absence from USADA. He further stated that there were 179 days remaining until December 16, which was said to be the final pay-per-view event of the year. In an ironic twist, Chandler mentioned that USADA had visited his door on the same day, adding insult to injury.

He captioned the Tweet, “No joke… Where the fook is that guy?”

As a result of Arman Tsarukyan’s criticism of Chandler following his victory at UFC on ESPN 46, Chandler’s peers have taken note of the issue. During the post-fight press conference, Tsarukyan said, “It looks like his fight with McGregor is over.”

The USADA web testing database shows that as of 2023, McGregor has not yet provided a sample. Apart from the trip that USADA paid him today, Chandler only appeared once during the second quarter.
