Israel Adesanya Stands Firm On Francis Ngannou’s Return To The UFC

He isn’t known as “The Predator” for no reason. And that is exactly why Israel Adesanya believes that Ngannou will eventually rejoin the UFC. Continue reading to find out why “The Stylebender” is making such ambitious claims!

PFL recently signed the former heavyweight champion Ngannou. The fighter also got them to meet his requirements. Ultimately, he was granted status, a promotion with leadership qualities, and the freedom to box.

Adesanya sees a large number of people questioning Ngannou’s choice. Currently, Ngannou hasn’t scheduled a boxing or MMA battle. But his fellow fighter requests the critics to be patient in this situation. Adesanya expressed pride in him, stating that his story is unique, tracing back to a time before his involvement in the UFC.

This statement was made during an interview on ”The MMA Hour.” Adesanya mentioned that he is paving his own path and has signed with the PFL. He stressed that the story is still ongoing and suggested that everyone should remain calm and observe the developments. Adesanya also expressed his disapproval of One Championship’s attempt to withdraw from the deal in order to protect their reputation, highlighting Francis’ honesty in communicating the situation to them.

Dana White, the president of UFC, made some pretty unprofessional claims recently. He stated that Ngannou declined an offer that would have made him the highest-paid heavyweight in history. Consequently, the UFC will never welcome him back. Looking at it from a different angle, it seems that the president is worried about losing an asset. So much so that he gave this signing a lot of attention by coming live in a press conference.

Even after all these heated arguments that took place, Adesanya believes that the UFC and Ngannou will finally reach an agreement. Adesanya further stated that this guy doesn’t simply give up or quit. There were references made to previous statements by Dana, where he claimed that women would never fight in the UFC, but the current situation proves otherwise.

Additionally, there was a statement about Francis not fighting in the UFC again. Still, there is a belief that he might return. Furthermore, he would eventually receive the rightful compensation after being mistreated for an extended period of time.

Since unifying his heavyweight title against Ciryl Game in January 2022, Ngannou has not engaged in a fight. He plans to first compete in boxing and then, in the middle of 2024, represent the PFL in MMA.

It’s quite unusual seeing Adesanya making such claims even after Ngannou has completed his signing.

Do you think that Adesanya knows something is cooking up behind the scenes, or is he just predicting? Do let us know your thoughts on this in the comment section!
