Tyson Fury’s Father Thinks Ngannou’s Open Workout Is Laughable

John Fury believes that Francis Ngannou’s open workout was just a game of possum. He says that man doesn’t have a prayer. What do you think about the type of comments Mr Fury is passing? Is it ethical? Should this be the behavior of such a man? Is there any double reason behind John Fury making such comments? Continue reading to find out!

Tyson Fury commented on the recent open workout featuring Francis Ngannou and Mike Tyson, along with their trainer who was holding the pads. In an Instagram video posted on Wednesday, Fury expressed his hope that what he saw was meant to be humorous and not a serious representation of their abilities. He suggested that if it wasn’t a joke, then their chances in the fight were extremely slim, saying they wouldn’t make it past the first round. Fury also speculated that this might turn out to be Tyson’s quickest knockout ever. He concluded by stating that he believed it had to be a mind game or a tactic to downplay their skills, as he found the performance embarrassing and suggested that they shouldn’t have even done a public workout if that was their best display.

On Wednesday in Las Vegas, Ngannou participated in a public workout while Mike Tyson, a great boxer, supported him with his pads. John Fury did not find the former UFC heavyweight champion impressive.

What do you think about Fury’s perspective on this? Do you think him making such verbal compliments is okay? Do you think this would have had a toll on the fighter’s mental health? Do you think he was ready to enter such a place? Do let us know about your thoughts in the comment section!
