Nate Diaz’s Message To His Long-Term Rival

On St. Patrick’s Day, Nate Diaz supported Conor McGregor by saying, “Free Conor.” What is the actual story behind the rivals supporting each other in front of the media? Is the support mutual or only from Nate’s side? Continue reading to fill yourself up on further details

Diaz conveyed that before Conor even arrived, he experienced similar circumstances for years. He expressed the belief that the system intends for individuals to perish before fulfilling their contracts, and also stressing that its important to take personal initiative to create opportunities. Diaz emphasized that nobody will offer assistance except oneself. He highlighted the call to support Conor, mentioning that it’s happening on St. Patrick’s Day.

While making media rounds for his new film “Road House,” McGregor has been making repeated public appeals for a UFC comeback, which is the subject of Diaz’s remarks. Despite McGregor’s stated desire to compete, UFC CEO Dana White has frequently stated that the movie and McGregor’s fortune have stood in the way.

Since suffering a leg break during a fight with Dustin Poirier in July 2021, McGregor, 35, has not participated in competitions. He had a protracted recuperation process and opted out of the UFC’s anti-doping testing program. McGregor returned to the pool in October, but the promotion stated he would have to go through six months of testing before he could do so again.

In November 2022, Diaz, 38, became a free agent. In August, he fought Jake Paul but lost the decision. On June 1, he will make a comeback to take on Jorge Masvidal, a former UFC opponent.
