Conor McGregor declares that “everything is set to go” for his July UFC matchup with Michael Chandler. Will McGregor be returning or is it something else? What will McGregor do? Continue reading to find out!

Before International Fight Week on June 29, McGregor declared that he would make a comeback. However, the UFC has never confirmed this. Two days after criticizing the UFC for their lack of communication earlier this week, McGregor had a change of heart.

McGregor informed on Tuesday that they had received confirmation a few days prior that everything was set for his return to the UFC octagon this summer. He stated, “‘The Mac,’ ‘The Notorious,’ will be returning.

Michael Chandler, his opponent, has shown a similar lack of patience, but McGregor insists the bout will go forward.

McGregor said that Michael should shut up, referring to him as a “f*cking imbecile.” He also said that he saw Michael on ‘Raw’ and expressed his intention to face him, streesing on the fact that he’s going to bust Mike up.” McGregor emphasized his commitment to following through on his statements, saying, “If I say it, I do it. If I say it, it gets done.” He expressed his plans to fight Chandler in the summer but joked about his weight, mentioning that he hadn’t checked the scales since his last UFC event weigh-in. Despite some uncertainty in his training due to lack of communication, McGregor mentioned receiving positive news and confirming his return to the octagon. He highlighted having trained in Dubai and Cannes and expressed determination not to back out now that everything was set for his return.

McGregor is wrapping up his promotion tour for “Road House,” which hits Prime Video this Thursday. Although McGregor and the UFC have worked things out about his rematch with Chandler, they have not yet talked about his contract, which has two fights left.

McGregor questioned whether they would sign a new deal, pondering if he would depart or if he was a free agent. He expressed his deep affection for the UFC, stating that his heart, catalog, and life were intertwined with the organization. McGregor conveyed his love for everyone involved in the company, including fighters, events, shows, and cards, expressing his desire to continue in some capacity. However, he admitted uncertainty about what that continuation might entail.
