Jim Miller’s Last Fight Or Not?

Jim Miller guarantees that the anticipated UFC 300 match won’t be a farewell match and that he will notify everyone when it’s the last one. Why is Miller not leaving yet? What are his intentions behind not ending his career after the upcoming UFC match? Continue reading to find out!

Jason Miller informed that as of that day, the second fight of 2024 had taken place. He recalled mentioning years ago that he might retire after reaching UFC 300 but emphasized being in a different mindset back then. Currently, he mentioned playing it by ear and stated that he would inform everyone when it becomes his last fight. Expressing excitement about the upcoming training camp, he clarified that, at the moment, it’s not his final bout and noted that he doesn’t typically step away and then return.

Miller claims that his longevity has been largely attributed to his ability to prepare for fights of the caliber of those in the UFC at this point in his career. He intends to compete at UFC 300 in April after having already fought in January, and ideally in his home state of New Jersey.

Jason Miller explained that the determining factor for him is whether he can sustain the lifestyle, asking himself if he can commit to training five or six days a week. He pointed out that, surprisingly, the fights are the relatively easier aspect, while the daily grind of pushing oneself to improve physically on a day-to-day basis takes a toll. He expressed a sense of having it figured out for now and outlined his post-UFC 300 plan, mentioning a desire to fight near his hometown in Newark. He emphasized the importance of having his friends and family present for one last fight. He concluded by stating that his approach is on a fight-by-fight basis.
