Tony Ferguson’s Court Case Finally Reaches A Verdict

According to online court records, Judge Shannon K. Cooley of the Superior Court of Los Angeles County (Calif.) decided on Monday regarding a plea agreement that the prosecution and defense had reached.

Ferguson’s misdemeanor DUI charge was dropped by the judge. Ferguson then entered a nolo contendere plea to one misdemeanor charge of driving recklessly while wet on a highway. Ferguson will therefore have to spend a year on probation.

Among other things, probationary conditions include paying restitution to the victim and refraining from driving after consuming alcohol in any appreciable quantity.

After Ferguson, 39, allegedly crashed his truck into two cars that were parked outside a nightclub in Hollywood, California, in the early hours of May 7, he was taken into custody. A police spokesperson stated that there were no injuries. Ferguson had entered a not-guilty plea earlier.
