Recently, Michael Bisping made a bold statement regarding Tom Aspinall and Jon Jones. Recently, Aspinall returned to the Octagon after a serious knee injury. However, he came back with a bang! He quickly defeated Marcin Tybura by first-round TKO this past Saturday at the main event of UFC Fight Night 224 at The O2 in London.
Aspinall is unblemished in the octagon, with five of his six UFC victories coming in the opening round, with the exception of blowing out his knee in an 18-second TKO loss to Curtis Blaydes last year. The first UFC champion from the United Kingdom, Bisping, has the utmost faith that Aspinall will soon wear gold around his waist.

Bisping shared that he was highly impressed with Aspinall’s performance. He stated it was one of the best displays he had ever seen from a heavyweight. Additionally, Bisping acknowledged that Marcin Tybura, Aspinall’s opponent, is a formidable fighter who has succeeded against top-tier opponents, winning seven of his last eight fights. However, this didn’t stop Aspinall from effortlessly defeating Tybura.
Bisping confidently expressed his belief that Aspinall would become the champion in the future. He firmly believes that Aspinall has the potential to achieve this title as long as there are no unforeseen injuries or unfortunate circumstances. According to Bisping, Aspinall’s path to becoming the world champion is highly probable.
He then discussed a significant challenge in Aspinall’s way. One thing that stands between him and the world championship is the undefeated Jon Jones. However, he claims that Aspinall would beat Jones and make it seem simple.
Bisping further added that Jon Jones is the present heavyweight champion and praised him as an incredible fighter, ranking among the greatest of all time. However, he firmly believes that Tom Aspinall’s skills surpass those of Jones.
According to Bisping, Aspinall’s abilities are on a different level, as evidenced by his dominant performance against Marcin Tybura. Bisping expressed confidence that Aspinall would achieve similar success if he were to face Jon Jones, and he firmly believed that no one could stop Aspinall’s rise in the heavyweight division.
