Conor McGregor’s Promising Comeback!

Welcome back, fight fans! This post bears good news because your favorite fighter is returning to the octagon.

Conor Mcgregor’s hyped return to the UFC has been on hold. However, fans should get ready for a change. So, continue reading to know the updates!

There is a growing expectation that a bout between coaches Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler will occur soon after “The Ultimate Fighter 31.” And McGregor promises that his return will be unlike any before!

McGregor displayed his enthusiasm about coming back in an interview with Megan Olivi posted on the UFC’s YouTube. He even called it the greatest comeback in combat sports history. He asserted that his opponent’s style and flaws made them an ideal target for being attacked from all sides. Moreover, he announced his plan to deliver a deadly head kick to his future opponent. Ultimately, his main objective is to outclass his opponent and demonstrate his abilities by unrelentingly attacking him.

He expressed his aggressive mindset and determination, saying, “I aim to wrap this steel bar around the opponent.” McGregor implied that he planned to deliver powerful strikes with such force that it would be like using a solid steel bar to inflict damage. He painted a graphic picture of what he envisioned during the fight. It suggested he wanted to deliver devastating blows that could cause significant injuries.

McGregor hasn’t fought since fracturing his limb in an injury TKO defeat to Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 in July 2021. He has since gone through difficult healing. Still, he has been spotted on social media enjoying himself as the wealthiest MMA fighter and indulging in other businesses. Meanwhile, he has also avoided USADA’s doping tests.

He claimed he only agreed to coach “TUF 31” because it was time. He mentioned that he wanted to return to the game and couldn’t turn down the offer. Therefore, McGregor will potentially face off against Micheal Chandler in a welterweight battle in November or December. Furthermore, he admitted that while he was looking forward to facing Chandler, the rival for his comeback fight ultimately didn’t matter. He’s only had four bouts since his defeat to Khabib Nurmagomedov in October 2018. So, he wants to get back on track.

He also spoke highly of Micheal Chandler, acknowledging his exciting fights, eagerness to compete, and overall skills as a fighter. Despite Chandler’s mixed record since joining the UFC, McGregor expressed satisfaction and claimed it didn’t bother him. He is experiencing a series of ups and downs, stating that he just wants to establish a consistent and continuous journey in his return to the sport.

Finally, he hopes to get 100 more fights. Additionally, he is hoping for consistency and a running career. Hence, he looks forward to this when he gets into the game.

What do you guys think of the fighter’s morale? Let us know in the comments!
