Sergei Pavlovich Sets Sights On Jones vs. Miocic Winner After Win Against Blaydes At UFC Vegas 71

Sergei Pavlovich emerged victorious against Curtis Blaydes at UFC Vegas 71, landing an uppercut that sent Blaydes to the canvas and finishing the fight in the first round. With this win, Pavlovich now has his sights set on the winner of the highly anticipated Jon Jones vs. Stipe Miocic fight, which is expected to happen towards the end of the year.

Blaydes had previously said that with a win against Pavlovich, he would wait for his first UFC championship opportunity. Now, Pavlovich plans to do the same and wait for his chance at UFC gold.

Despite not having a preference for either fighter, Pavlovich recognizes that both Jones and Miocic are tough warriors and will be a tough fight for anyone. He plans to prepare and be ready for whoever he is given.

In a recent update, UFC president Dana White stated that everything is good and they hope to have the Jones vs. Miocic fight soon. Jones won the UFC heavyweight championship by defeating Ciryl Gane with a first-round submission at UFC 285 in March of this year, and called out Miocic, whom he declared as the ‘greatest heavyweight of all time’. However, Miocic has not fought since losing to Francis Ngannou via KO at UFC 260 two years ago. Keep up with the latest updates on this highly anticipated fight.
